Seasonal Farm Hand:
Job Description: Join the Z&N Farm team! This is a part- time , seasonal position, 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Friday ) . Ideal candidate would be available to work May through September. Compensation is based on experience and performance but will be between $15-$18 per hour.
Responsibilities include:
Cultivating (hoeing) weeds
Planting
Harvesting
Washing Produce
Packaging Produce
Job Requirements:
Must be able to stand and/or walk during entire work day
MUST be able to do highly physical work and lift 50+ lbs consistently through the day
Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl during the entire work day.
Must be able to work outdoors under varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.) for the duration of the work day.
Experience in vegetable farming and/or in a physical labor position is highly desired.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team
Able to multitask
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
A valid driver’s license
Reliable Transportation
Positive Attitude
No drama
18 years or older
