Seasonal Farm Hand:

Job Description: Join the Z&N Farm team! This is a part- time , seasonal position, 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Friday ) . Ideal candidate would be available to work May through September. Compensation is based on experience and performance but will be between $15-$18 per hour. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Cultivating (hoeing) weeds

  • Planting

  • Harvesting

  • Washing Produce

  • Packaging Produce

Job Requirements: 

  • Must be able to stand and/or walk during entire work day

  • MUST be able to do highly physical work and lift 50+ lbs consistently through the day

  • Must be able to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl during the entire work day.

  • Must be able to work outdoors under varying weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, etc.) for the duration of the work day.

  • Experience in vegetable farming and/or in a physical labor position is highly desired.

  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Able to multitask

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good communication skills

  • A valid driver’s license

  • Reliable Transportation

  • Positive Attitude

  • No drama

  • 18 years or older
